[Like, piers has significantly fewer strings. Even the ones that lead back home are like, gold for his sister and Pokemon, maybe three-ish yellow and... that's about it. No red, the ghosts of long-faded orange, and only the tiniest flecks of pink in two directions.]

[He scoffs at the image of becoming a harp, though he does have plenty of strings. Most are green or yellow-green. He has at least a little of most of the colors on him, including his faded strings from home.

For now, distracted by the conversation, he is not really squinting to see what all Piers has specifically.]

Ruggie has been here almost as long as I have... But surely he will be willing to lend his assistance to a teammate!

But right behind that is providing her with healthy food. A roof that doesn't leak. A clean neighbourhood to grow up in. Opportunities. Hope.

I wish love could do everything, but it didn't.
